The CDHS Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) develops and addresses human services policy issues brought before it through collaboration, cooperation and effective communication on a statewide basis to improve the process of delivery of services for children, families, and adults across the state of Colorado. The PAC then submits recommendations to the Executive Director of CDHS along with implementation plans for approval.
The PAC consists of several subcommittees including the Child Welfare Sub Policy Advisory Committee (Sub-PAC) to address the complex human services issues.
