Colorado Trails User Group

The Colorado Trails User Group (CTUG) is a subcommittee of the Child Welfare Sub-PAC. CTUG is an ongoing group comprised of county Trails users and state Division of Child Welfare and OIT representatives that focuses on the enhancement and optimization of Trails, Colorado's Statewide Automatic Child Welfare Information System. CTUG was formed in July 2002 at the suggestion of the State and County Human Services Director's Association and meets on a monthly basis, currently the fourth Friday of each month.

CTUG's primary responsibilities and objectives are:

  • To provide counties a forum in which to raise questions and concerns regarding Trails to representatives from the state Trails team
  • To provide a forum for counties to receive updates and information from the state regarding issues affecting Trails users
  • To review and recommend prioritization for all Trails enhancement or modification requests that are sent to the state OIT's Portfolio Management Group

In addition, this group helps to promote county-specific needs related to Trails use, to clarify and resolve policy and practice issues related to the use of Trails, and to participate in "design sessions" and the testing of enhancements to Trails.
