The Child Protection Task Group is a subcommittee of the Child Welfare Sub-PAC. The Child Protection Task Group works on areas related to intake and ongoing child protection including identifying barriers to child safety, permanency and well-being. In addition, this task group helps to draft rules related to intake and ongoing child welfare practice, as assigned including the use of child protection teams, safety tools and risk tools.
