Are you a participant of Colorado Employment First, ReHire Colorado, the Colorado Refugee Services Program, Colorado Works, or the Colorado Works Subsidized Training Employment Program (CW STEP) program? If so, you may be able to receive job training at no cost to you. If you are not sure if you are enrolled or qualify for these programs, please contact cdhs_dews_careerpathways@state.co.us.
What job training is available?
Training for jobs include, but are not limited to, certified nursing assistant (CNA), commercial driver's license A/B (CDL), early childcare teacher, flagger, phlebotomist, medical assistant, Computing Technologoy Industry Association (CompTIA), emergency medical technician, pharmacy technician and dental assistant are available.
How does it work?
Contact the Career Pathway Team at cdhs_dews_careerpathways@state.co.us. We will work with you to determine which program you may qualify for to receive training.
Students who enroll in one of the following healthcare certificate programs covered by Care Forward Colorado (CNA, EMT, phlebotomy technician, pharmacy technician, medical assistant, dental assistant) will have tuition, fees and course materials covered as funding allows.
