Electronic Benefits Transfer card error

DENVER (Aug. 28, 2020) - Today, an error occurred, causing the temporary inactivation of Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards for 4,710 benefit recipients in Colorado. The error has been corrected, and the cards have been reactivated.

Child Development Associate scholarships offered in Colorado

DENVER (Aug. 26, 2020) - The Colorado Department of Human Services Office of Early Childhood, in partnership with Child Care Innovations-Red Rocks Community College and Mesa County Public Health, is offering scholarships to early childhood professionals to earn or renew their Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. Offering CDA credential scholarships will help to improve the quality of the early care and education workforce by attracting and retaining highly qualified professionals.

Colorado reports SNAP benefit notice error

MINDSOURCE Brain Injury Network releases state plan

DENVER (Aug. 13, 2020) - The Colorado Department of Human Services' MINDSOURCE Brain Injury Network, in partnership with the Colorado Brain Injury Advisory Board, has released its Brain Injury State Plan, which resulted from 18 months of planning by a 20-member board. The plan will result in the creation of a strengthened system of services and supports that maximizes the independence, well-being and health of Coloradans with brain injuries.

Colorado Behavioral Health Task Force passes system reform

DENVER (Aug. 6, 2020) - In a unanimous vote, the Colorado Behavioral Health Task Force (BHTF) passed a recommendation to create a new behavioral health administration, part of the bold work the BHTF has been working on for more than a year. This is one step toward ensuring high-quality, integrated, people-centered behavioral health care services. The recommendation will be part of Colorado's Behavioral Health Blueprint, a roadmap to major transformation, which will be issued later this summer.
