CDHS's Office of Adult, Aging and Disability Services fosters independence to Coloradans through access to seamless and responsive personalized service. The office focuses on services and programs benefiting older adults, people with disabilities, and veterans and veterans’ spouses requiring skilled nursing and domiciliary care. The following programs serve Coloradans with disabilities.

Regional Centers

CDHS oversees three Regional Centers (in Grand Junction, Pueblo and Wheat Ridge) that serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

CDHS's Disability Determination Services (DDS) is the state agency that makes the disability decisions for the federal Social Security program.

The Colorado Commission for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind (CCDHHDB) seeks to be an agent of change for a sustainable statewide network of resources, dedicated to cultural and linguistic equality.
