DENVER (Sept. 15, 2025) — The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) is reaching out to students and families who are eligible for the Summer EBT program but never received their card because of an incomplete address.
Beginning today, CDHS will send a text message to these students and families. To receive their benefits, recipients must respond via email with their corrected information by Sept. 30.
The text will come from the number 267325 and will read:
- English: Our records show your child is eligible for Summer EBT benefits. Please email your name, child’s name, & current address to cdhs_sebt_supportcenter@state.co.us by 9/30/2025.
This summer, CDHS provided Summer EBT cards to nearly 450,000 students. The program gives a one-time payment of $120 on a pre-loaded card to help families buy healthy food.
This text message campaign is part of CDHS's ongoing effort to make sure all eligible students receive their benefits. We have also shared information through press releases and on the CDHS Facebook page throughout the summer.
If you believe you should have received a Summer EBT card and did not, please contact the Summer EBT Support Center by emailing cdhs_sebt_supportcenter@state.co.us before the Sept. 30 deadline.
For more information, visit the Summer EBT web page.
