Are you one of the following?

  • A Division of Youth Services employee and Colorado WINS representative
  • A non-CDHS employee who has worked in youth corrections and who has experience working to establish a rehabilitative and therapeutic culture

If so, the Youth Seclusion Working Group would love for you to apply for one of our two open positions.

The Youth Seclusion Working Group is charged with conducting a review of the Division of Youth Services' biannual report on seclusion in order to advise DYS concerning policies, procedures and best practices related to restraint and seclusion and alternatives to restraint and seclusion. Workgroup members are appointed by the governor and are comprised of members from an array of stakeholder groups. The Youth Seclusion Working Group currently meets for two hours virtually in January and July of each year.

CDHS encourages people of diverse backgrounds to apply. If you are interested, please fill out an application by Oct. 19. If you need assistance completing the application, please contact Sara Kahat at 720.261.6384 or sara.kahat@state.co.us.
