March 30, 2022: Thank you for your interest in the proposed rules regarding Recovery Support Services Organization (RSSO) previously noticed to follow the State Board of Human Services meeting on April 8, 2022, as Executive Director rules. Please be advised that the Department has determined that these proposed rules would more appropriately be considered as State Board of Human Services rules, therefore, they will appear on the rulemaking agenda as such during the above-mentioned rulemaking meeting on April 8 at 8:30 a.m. This change will provide the opportunity for a more collaborative decision-making process through the State Board of Human Services, which is comprised of nine members from diverse geographic areas and life experiences, as opposed to a unilateral decision-making process through the Executive Director.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to provide comment in written or oral form during the rulemaking (guidelines here). All public comments received on the rules thus far will be considered. If you have already submitted a comment, you do not need to submit it again.
