Public notice regarding means-tested benefits
The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) is providing this public notice in order to identify state-administered public benefit programs that are means-tested. A means-tested benefit is one where eligibility is based, in whole or in part, on an applicant’s income or financial resources.
Here is a list of CDHS programs and sub-programs that are considered means-tested public benefits:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Summer EBT
- Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP)
- Adult Financial Programs
- Colorado Works
- Colorado Works Subsidized Training and Employment Program (CW STEP)
- Housing for Victims of Abuse
- ReHire Colorado
- Communications Technology Program
