SB 20-106 Youth Consent to Shelter and Services Rules Task Group

SB 20-106 allows a homeless youth who is 15 years of age or older to consent to receiving shelter or shelter services from a licensed homeless youth shelter. The legislation directed CDHS to promulgate rules for licensed homeless youth shelters to follow when a youth consents to receiving shelter or shelter services. The SB 20-106 Youth Consent to Shelter and Services Rules Task Group will meet to develop proposed rules that will implement SB 20-106. The areas of rule impacted will be 12 CCR 2509-01, 12 CCR 2509-02, and 12 CCR 2509-08.
