The State of Colorado, Department of Human Services, Office of Children, Youth, and Families, Domestic Violence Program (DVP) has released a Request for Applications (RFA) for the purpose of expanding the availability of domestic violence services to:
- Serve a Colorado county or other geographic region that is currently underserved due to a lack of dedicated domestic violence advocacy services for that county,
- Serve a Colorado county or other geographic region that currently has dedicated domestic violence advocacy services, which are not currently funded by DVP, or,
- Address the needs of a historically underserved community by an organization with a specialized mission and/or service model intended to reduce safety barriers for survivors of domestic violence and their families and increase access to services that are accessible, culturally-relevant, and trauma-informed by an organization not currently funded by DVP.
Applications in response to this RFA are due May 13, 2019, at 4:00 PM.
