The Colorado Department of Human Services is holding a statewide event to fill numerous healthcare-related positions. Representatives will be available — in person and virtually — to help you learn which jobs are available and how to navigate the application process.

Adams County
Prairie Vista Youth Services Center: Prairie Vista Youth Services Center is a 38-bed juvenile detention center located in Brighton. The co-ed detention youth center serves youth ages 10-17. All youth are held while awaiting court appearances or serving short sentences of no more than 45 days. Prairie Vista YSC opened in 2021.

Veterans Community Living Center at Fitzsimons: The Veterans Community Living Center at Fitzsimons is a 180-bed facility providing skilled nursing care. It serves veterans, veterans' spouses/widows and Gold Star parents. Services include long-term care, Alzheimer's care, end-of-life/hospice services and short-term rehabilitation.
Arapahoe County
Marvin W. Foote Youth Services Center: Marvin W. Foote Youth Services Center is located in Englewood and is a 62-bed secure youth center serving detained youth from ages 10 to 17. Marvin W. Foote YSC uses an adaptive pro-social behavioral management philosophy which applies evidence-based principles from social learning and cognitive behavioral theory.
Denver County
Colorado Mental Health Institute at Fort Logan: The Colorado Mental Health Institute at Fort Logan (CMHIFL) is one of two state hospitals serving the mentally ill in Colorado. CMHIFL provides inpatient treatment to adult clients. The hospital has 94 adult inpatient beds, spread across four inpatient units or treatment teams. It provides medical services, occupational therapy, neuropsychological-rehabilitation services, and trauma-informed care services.
Gilliam Youth Services Center: Gilliam Youth Services Center opened in 1903 and is the oldest state-operated detention center in Colorado. The program serves up to 64 youth, both male and female, from the 2nd Judicial District located in the city and county of Denver.
El Paso County
Spring Creek Youth Services Center: Spring Creek Youth Services Center is a 60-bed secure treatment facility and assessment center for both male and female juvenile offenders committed to the Division of Youth Services. Spring Creek YSC serves youth from 12 to 20 who have high-risk needs and have committed various crimes.
Zebulon Pike Youth Services Center: Zebulon Pike Youth Services Center is a 40-bed youth center that provides secure detention within the Southern Region of Colorado. Youth are detained at ZPYSC for one of two reasons: secure placement pending a court hearing, or to serve a detention sentence of up to 45 days.
Fremont County
Bruce McCandless Veterans Community Living Center at Florence: The Bruce McCandless Veterans Community Living Center at Florence serves veterans, veterans' spouses/widows and Gold Star parents. Services include long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and special programs for memory care, end-of-life/hospice and short-term "respite" care.
Garfield County
Veterans Community Living Center at Rifle: The Veterans Community Living Center at Rifle is an 89-bed nursing home, with a 12-bed secure memory care unit. It serves veterans, veterans' spouses/widows and Gold Star parents. Services include long-term care, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, respite care and end-of-life services.
Jefferson County
Wheat Ridge Regional Center: The Wheat Ridge Regional Center is a residential facility that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have intensive needs. WRRC opened on July 1, 1912, and supports individuals of all ages.
The Campus at Lookout Mountain: The Campus at Lookout Mountain, located in Golden, is an intensive secure treatment program for male juvenile offenders. The campus includes three separate facilities: Aspire Youth Services Center, Golden Peak Youth Services Center and Summit Youth Services center.

The Campus at Mount View: The Campus at Mount View, located in Lakewood, provides long-term treatment for male and female youth. The campus includes three separate facilities: Willow Point Youth Services Center, Rocky Mountain Youth Services Center, and Betty K. Marler Youth Services Center.
Mesa County
Grand Junction Regional Center: The Grand Junction Regional Center, which was founded in 1919, is a residential facility that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have intensive needs. GJRC serves a diverse population, from people who have high abilities but are a high risk to themselves or others to people who have significant medical challenges.
Grand Mesa Youth Services Center: Grand Mesa Youth Services Center is a 70-bed, co-ed, secure, multipurpose youth center operated by the Colorado Division of Youth Services located in Grand Junction. Grand Mesa provides detention, regional diagnostic/assessment for newly committed youth and secure commitment services. The facility provides secure detention holding for male and female youth awaiting court or serving short-term sentences, as well as long-term committed youth.
Pueblo County
Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo: Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo (CMHIP) is a 516-bed acute care psychiatric hospital that provides inpatient behavioral health services for adults, adolescents and geriatric patients. CMHIP is located on a 300-acre campus. As one of Pueblo's largest employers, CMHIP offers career opportunities in many multi-disciplinary professions, including nursing, psychology, social work and medicine.
Pueblo Regional Center: The Pueblo Regional Center is a residential facility that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have intensive needs. PRC serves serve up to 88 individuals with developmental disabilities until they can be stabilized and transitioned to a less restrictive setting in the community of their choice.
Pueblo Youth Services Center: Pueblo Youth Services Center is a secure 27-bed detention youth center located in Pueblo. Male and female youth between the ages of 10 and 17 are detained at the facility for reasons such as secure placement pending a court hearing, or to serve a detention sentence of up to 45 days.
Rio Grande County
Veterans Community Living Center at Homelake: The Veterans Community Living Center at Homelake was established in 1889 as the Soldiers' and Sailors' Home, providing a peaceful home for aging and disabled Civil War veterans. Homelake has been preserving memories and honoring veterans from every major war in U.S. history. VCLC at Homelake serves veterans, veterans' spouses/widows and Gold Star parents.
Weld County
Platte Valley Youth Services Center: Platte Valley Youth Services Center is a 119-bed co-ed secure, multipurpose youth center in Greeley. Platte Valley YSC provides detention and secure custody treatment services. It is a secure detention holding for male and female youth from ages 10 through 17, and a secure custody location for long-term male and female youth between 12 and 20.
